Hello Slowly!! I downloaded this app a few days before the country went into quarantine. I don’t remember how I discovered it, but I’m glad I started using it. Trusting people in such environments is not really my thing. So, in the beginning, I was talking to people distantly. But as time went by, the sincerity in the letters I received gradually became sweeter. Thanks to them, I also opened up a bit more. I was expressing my feelings more clearly.
Later on, some people stopped responding. I wrote to others or received new letters. Sometimes I hesitated to write. (There are still people I can’t write to because I’m shy) but I tried to stay active all the time. Whenever I had free time, I would write and send long letters. The only thing that made my quarantine beautiful was this app. During this period, I gained very nice people. I even met some in real life. (Even though we aren’t talking now, they are still very valuable to me. I feel like they are a close friend who stayed behind when we moved from our old place. Yet we were only pen pals. This is the best feature of this app. It makes you feel like they are right beside you. I hope one day we will be like we used to be.)
Now, because of my school, I can’t use it much, but I still have friends I regularly correspond with. They all have my number or Instagram address, but we prefer to talk here. Writing letters is something else. It’s more special than instant conversations. Whenever I feel bad, happy, or whatever, I write to them without hesitation. They motivate me or share in my happiness. And sometimes I encounter new friends, different thoughts, different lifestyles. So, in short, I’m sure it’s a platform I’ll use all my life.
