In May 2020 I was watching some videos and in one of them a boy was recommending – Slowly app -, saying that it is a place to talk to people from all over the world; naturally, I immediately downloaded the application in order to practice my English with native speakers.

However, as the days went by I realized that the concept of the application was different from what I had known before, because people really wanted to talk and share a little bit of their lives with the world, then I knew that “Slowly” was perfect for me because this application exceeded my expectations and made me want to write long letters to my dear pen pals.

I cannot explain a great story that has happened to me here because there are many, for instance, with a friend from Canada we created a poem of 8 verses together, with a great mate from Colombia we exchanged funny stories, pictures and audios, and more, more. It is a fact that here you will find great friends, however, little by little some of them will disappear, but you will always find someone special to talk to and it could be forever.

Currently I have made several friends from all continents, but I still have many countries to explore and people to meet here. I will only tell people who are reading this story to never stop sending letters, you never know who is missing you.
