And to finish this letter, I propose a heartfelt toast to the health of the entire Slowly Community!!!!

This girl two thousand kilometers away, who just wrote to me, a total stranger, here on Slowly, became such a big part of my everyday life.

They have helped me to understand about my own cultural identity – my way of thinking, my way of life. I am a third-generation Nikkei from São Paulo.

I’ve been using Slowly since October 2018, when preparing a post-graduation course applying New Technologies to English Language Teaching.

In Russia it is so hard to find someone, who could understand you and you would talk freely, without any fears!

He introduced me to Slowly and told me if you’re afraid to say things to your family, you should probably be fine to talk about it to a stranger.

Elke brief bestond uit liedjes, verhalen, interessante vragen en interessante bijnamen die zich ontwikkelden tot een mooie vriendschap.

Politically there are no good relations but through Slowly I made some Indian friends. I am glad to have such a deep conversation with them.
