On a late Sunday afternoon after contemplating upon my existence on Slowly, I decided it was time for me to move on.

There were conversations. Many of them. But none which struck a different beat to my heart. When I decided to stroll the app one last time, I stumbled upon a profile which not only intrigued me, but changed my decision altogether! There I was, unbeknownst to the journey which was in front of me. I found there, a company so wonderful which truly became insdispensable. Everytime, I’d write something extra special for her in every letter of mine and she used to love it. We were strangers before, not even knowing about each other’s existence, but Slowly helped us discover how much our interests matched and how amazingly we connected. It all began there. Just with one single letter. Everytime she used to say that she couldn’t imagine waking up one day and not seeing that a letter was arriving from me, she’d feel upset about it. And that importantly made me realise that words and letters have the power to connect people, even hundreds of miles apart. Thanks Slowly for bringing up that traditional vibe into this ultra-fast social media which actually sucks.
