Vaisakhi

A traditional harvest festival

Each April, the vibrant festival of Vaisakhi bursts into life across India, marking the traditional harvest season and the Sikh New Year. Celebrated with gusto, it's a time of colourful processions, spirited Bhangra dances, and communal feasts. Born in Punjab, Vaisakhi also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa in 1699, offering a culturally rich spectacle.
