Almost a year ago I was in depression because I couldn’t clear a medical entrance examination. I confined my self in my room and didn’t talk much to anyone. I was afraid that if I tell this, people around will make fun of me.

So yeah self-confinement was toxic for me and I didn’t realize it straight away. I wrote raps which I usually do, I thought it’ll help me forget this depression thing. But all it did was making things worse as whatever I wrote broke me more from inside.

My elder brother approached me and asked me if everything was alright or not?! and I didn’t answer him. He suggested to me that if there is something that’s eating you from inside you should talk it out howsoever you feel doing it. He introduced me to Slowly and told me if you’re afraid to say things to your family, you should probably be fine to talk about it to a stranger. That was weird but anyways I trusted his words and got onboard.

Here I found a lot of folks and a maximum of them were generous. I found a girl named MAUDIN from INDONESIA, she helped me a lot get out of my depression. She used to motivate me every day, and we shared a lot of thoughts.

If it won’t for her I wouldn’t have found my confidence back. We are best friends now.

Now on Slowly I help other people who are in depression to get outta it. I’ve been there and it is a dark place to be in!!!
I almost recommend this app to everyone. Slowly changed my life and I’m thankful to the team who developed it!!!
