Stamp collecting has become an integral part of the penpal experience on Slowly. Users can collect location-based stamps through meeting new penpals or by travelling; limited edition stamps could also be unlocked on special occasions.
At the same time, we started receiving feedback and requests from our users for more variations of stamps. This has inspired us to think beyond conventional use of stamps:
What if Slowly stamps can also act as the companion of the letters to deliver a story … an emotion … or a memory?
This thought has kept the team buzzing with new and creative ideas — after months of brainstorming and design, we’re finally ready to reveal this exciting news with you today 💚
Introducing the new Slowly Stamp Store
Slowly Store is a new way to collect and share beautiful stamps.
From lively hand gestures that greet your new penpal, to mouth watering snacks exclusive to your home country … Slowly Stamps are more fun, more colourful and more personal than ever before, with endless possibilities to express yourself and share stories with your penpals. Use them as a conversation opener, a chance to ask a question, or simply a warm hello from the other side of the world 👋
The new Slowly stamps and stamp sets can be collected in exchange with coins, which can be purchased and used with no expiry date.
We’re also working on location-based stamps (which may take us some time 🙂) if you’ve got an idea or would like us to feature your country / region, please scroll to the bottom of Stamp Store, press “Vote” and let us know.
