Perched dramatically on a hilltop overlooking the capital of Liechtenstein, this centuries-old fortress is the residence of the princely family and an emblem of the area. Although its interior remains a mystery as it's not open to the public, the castle's medieval ramparts whisper tales of knights and nobility from its 12th-century origins. Surrounded by the picturesque Alpine landscape, the exterior provides a worthy backdrop for a photo session, especially during the National Day celebrations when the gardens are open to visitors.
