The Princess Sirindhorn bird, also known as the Deignan’s Babbler, was first sighted in Thailand in 1968. Named in honour of Princess Sirindhorn, it is a rare bird found in a small area of northern Thailand. Its discovery brought attention to the rich birdlife and biodiversity of the region.
