Ours is a story of two people from two totally different places on earth, the struggles we had and the friendship and bond we created...
Some people are fleeting, and others have stayed for years. In all of this, I've learned the value of friendship and the true value of human connection, physical or otherwise.
Even though our cultural backgrounds and lifestyles were completely different, we were deeply connected.
My story through Slowly isn't a love story, at least not in a conventional way. It's more of a story about self-discovery.
Re-joining Slowly was one of the best things I could've done, both for my mental health and for my social life.

You do not have to be worried about being judged or misinterpreted at all. Everyone is so welcoming and accepting.

He’s halfway across the world and I feel closer to him than most people.
It was so fascinating to hear about the differences between the culture and structure of our lives.
Why would I want to do that, when I have instant messaging? When there are much faster, quicker ways to contact people than wait hours?

Slowly gave us an outlet in which to talk about things we maybe didn’t want to breach over the phone.
I've found so many close and fantastic friendships here that trying to narrow it down to just one was impossible...
Start connecting with the world now!
