First of all, I would like to thank Slowly for the countless things it has given me.

I first started to use Slowly at the beginning of 2021. I was recommended to use it for English. Most of the applications I used for English was bad, so I didn’t expect this app to be as good as this. I downloaded the app and sent letters to a lot of people. And I was sent letters too. We had short conversations with some and long conversations with another, but that was okay.

The letters were sent within a certain time according to the distance. It was very realistic and nice. You were waiting with excitement and getting surprise answers.

One day a Costa Rican girl sent a letter to me. I didn’t even know a single thing about Costa Rica before -except for its place. And that girl became one of my very close friends!

She quickly responded to my long letters without being lazy. She was kind, trustworthy and respectful. Even when I said that I would leave the application for a while, she did not cut off communication with me and gave me her number.

Now it’s been a year since our friendship, but we talk every week. It’s great to know that I have a friend on the other side of the world.

I recently downloaded Slowly again. Thanks to my experience, I can use the application better. Again, I made a lot of friends from all over the world -as an introvert. It’s easier to have communication with people you don’t know.

My friends share their languages, cultures, hobbies with me, and I share with them. Sometimes they share their favorite songs. Even in our short letters, I learn a lot and I am happy about it. I improved my English a lot as well and now using it for Japanese!

Again and again, thanks Slowly a lot!
