The Torre de Hércules is an ancient Roman lighthouse located in A Coruña, Spain. It is unique because it is the world's oldest lighthouse that is still in use. The tower stands 55 meters tall and has a square base with a spire on top. It was built in the 2nd century AD and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Legend says it was built to mark the burial place of Hercules.
