"Journey to the West" is a classic Chinese tale about the travels of a monk named Tang Sanzang who is on a quest to bring sacred Buddhist scriptures from India to China. He is joined by three magical companions: Sun Wukong, the Monkey King; Zhu Bajie, the Pig; and Sha Wujing, a water demon. The story is famous for its mix of adventure, humor, and spiritual lessons. It's one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature.
