🇲🇰 North Macedonia
Slowly Story

I had always been fascinated by different cultures and languages, so when I heard about Slowly, I decided to give it a try. I was curious to see who I would meet and what I would learn from them.

One day, I received a letter from a girl named Yagmur, who lives in Turkey. She mentioned that she previously visited North Macedonia and wanted to tell me about her experience visiting my homeland. She also said she liked reading, writing, and music. I was intrigued by her letter and decided to reply. I told her about myself, my interests, and my experiences.

We started exchanging letters regularly, and there was an instant connection right away. We shared our thoughts, feelings, dreams, and fears. We learned a lot from each other and discovered that we had many things in common. We also respected our differences and tried to understand each other’s perspectives.

As time went by, we started to feel more than just a simple connection for each other. We felt a connection that transcended the distance and the language barrier. We felt like we knew each other for a long time, even though we had never met in person.

We decided to take our relationship to the next level and video call each other. We were both nervous and excited to see each other’s faces and hear each other’s voices. When we finally saw each other on the screen, we were amazed by how beautiful and charming we were. We smiled, laughed, blushed, and talked for hours. We felt like we were in the same room, even though we were almost a thousand kilometers apart.

We realized that we were in love with each other and wanted to be together. We made plans to meet in real life as soon as possible. We knew it would not be easy, but we were willing to overcome any obstacle for our love.

We finally met in person after 3 months of virtual letters and calls. It was the happiest time of our lives. We hugged, kissed, held hands, and looked into each other’s eyes. We felt like we were in a dream, but it was real. We spent an unforgettable week together. We also met each other’s families and friends, who welcomed us warmly.

We had to say goodbye at the end of the week and of course with every goodbye there is also a tear drop that gets accompanied with it, for us though it’s never a goodbye but a ‘see you later’ instead. We knew that our love was stronger than any distance or challenge. We knew that we had found our soulmate in each other.

That’s how I met Yagmur, the love of my life.

Edit:
I decided to propose to Yagmur, which she said yes to. Our journey together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
