I’m really happy to be part of this community. I’ve met many interesting people here, exchanged lots of letters with them, and talked about all kinds of topics. I never expected to like it here so much. I’ve never been a writer, but I’ve grown fond of the letter format here. Sometimes I spend hours writing a thoughtful letter, which makes my free time or bus ride more enjoyable. It’s hard for me to describe just one particular story, because I had really interesting conversations with every pen pal I met, so it’s difficult to choose only one.
Although, you may be interested to know that I here, had my first opportunity to write a fantasy role-play, which I am very happy about and grateful to the person I wrote with. I was never really into this style of writing fictional stories. But one day, I decided to mention it in my letter. It turned out that I met someone who was interested in it as well. Another year has passed, and our RP story is still moving forward. And where am I in this story? I am an elven archmage with pointed ears named Itchlion. As you can see, you can really meet people here with whom you can have interesting conversations, come up with creative ideas, find someone to write RP with, or maybe even meet in real life.
So when writing letters, just be yourself. I know that sometimes you may be ignored here, because I myself have been ignored more than once, but I have learned one thing. If you manage to find one or more pen pals here, despite those who ghost you, you’ll have a really interesting time exchanging letters. Especially since the community here is very polite, so don’t worry about the length of the letter or anything like that. There will always be someone willing to exchange letters with you – all you need is patience.
Therefore, I wish you all the most interesting letters and friendships. Maybe one day you will come across my profile or open letter, and I will be happy to welcome you then.
