I was born in the year the first iPhone came out. I never witness people sending letters to each other to communicate in real life. It’s something I’ve always been fascinated about. I use to wish I could go back in time. Finally, my wish came true.
On one random day, I decided to download the Slowly app. Best decision I ever made! On my first week of using the app, I was in awe. I exchanged letters with some few people. It was amazing. Felt like I really went back in time. It felt like I was a teenager from the 50s. All thanks to Slowly.
After nine months of using the app, the best thing happened. I met my soulmate, my best friend. We exchanged multiple letters. It took 14 hours for the letters to arrive. It was so thrilling! Reading her letters became a daily routine. Most times, I would wake up to see her letter. Whenever I read them, I automatically knew my day would be great! It was magical!
We even play real life games together through letters. We co parented a dog. (He’s dead now.) We even jokingly rizz each other. Day by day, our bond grew because we had so many things in common. We consider ourselves the same. She says, we’re a potato that was sliced in half. 😅
After weeks of exchanging letters, we finally video chatted. To me, she’s one of the most beautiful creatures on earth! I absolutely love her so much!
We’re both still looking forward to meeting each other in the nearest future.
