I don't necessarily think that my story is as exciting or optimistic as others but I do want to tell my story if it gets out there...
The act of correspondence where you share a bit about yourself can make you feel a smidge vulnerable at first, but if you give it some time, it will pay off.
I'm no longer afraid of being rejected by people because I know there will always be someone who will accept me for who I am, no matter how bad my flaws and imperfections might be.
For the majority of my life, I felt isolated. I felt estranged from my peers at school and I even felt estranged from my family.

The reason why I love Slowly is because it has caused me to read and listen. To listen to what others have to say despite our differences.
I felt incredibly lonely, and that's when Slowly stepped in.
To conclude, Slowly is a lifesaver. I don't know where my mental health would be without it.

It wasn’t!! :) We talked as easily in real life as we did in the app, wandered around the mall...
Since the first letter, we have been writing to each other non-stop.
I’ve only used Slowly for a few months now, and I can’t stop recommending it.
We are celebrating our one year of friendship!
